Things we’ll think about together
Complex formulation. Holding multiple hypotheses without collapsing to the easiest one. Knowing when your formulation is doing real work and when it’s furniture.
Assessment and differential diagnosis. Neurodevelopment - autism, ADHD, trauma, learning disorders, giftedness - and the overlaps that make all of them harder than the textbooks suggest. If you want to develop your neurodevelopmental and learning assessment capability properly, I can supervise that work end-to-end, from intake through report.
Systems thinking in child and adolescent work. Every clinician says they see the child in context; the harder discipline is acting on it.
Relational and depth-oriented therapy. Long-arc work where the therapeutic relationship is the primary instrument of change. Attachment, trauma, personality structure, the cases that don’t resolve in ten sessions and were never going to. Supervision here is itself relational: process, transference, what the room is doing, what you’re carrying out of it. This is some of the most demanding work in our field, and you shouldn’t be doing it alone.
Outside work: walk-and-talk, nature-based, equine and canine-assisted, child and adolescent groups. Few senior clinical psychologists in Australia supervise this work substantively. I do, and I'll support you to develop the same level of skill you'd expect from any other modality.
Peer supervision for supervisors. The work of holding other clinicians' work is its own discipline: and it rarely gets the attention it deserves. Parallel process, the ethics of power differentials, how to develop someone into their own clinician rather than a version of you, when to push and when to hold. This is the layer of support most supervisors never get offered.

- In-person in Gippsland, including outdoor sessions where it makes sense
- Off-site approval for most university placement and internship pathways
- AHPRA compliant internship and registrar paperwork taken care of
- Primary and secondary supervision available
- $150–$220 per hour depending on career stage and program requirements
- Weekly, fortnightly, monthly or ad hoc
