Supervision

For psychologists doing complex work: interns working towards registration, registrars building toward endorsement, clinicians who’ve hit the ceiling of what general supervision can offer, and senior clinicians doing long-arc relational work. Differential diagnosis, formulation, ethics, relational depth, and staying in the profession without burning out.

Assessment

For schools. Neurodevelopmental and learning assessments provided directly to schools across Gippsland. For the students who don’t fit the screening tool, those with multiple competing needs, and the ones the last report didn’t help.

Current practice

Both parts of the practice exist for the same reason. 

Rural Australia is short on senior clinical psychology capacity, and these are the two places that shortage hurts most: clinicians trying to develop without good supervision, and children waiting years for assessment. The practice is deliberately focused so the people who arrive here get the attention they deserve.

One Wild Step

One Wild Step is my sister practice, offering nature-based and animal-assisted therapy for young people. The therapy waitlist there is currently closed. Healthwise Gippsland is where the supervision and assessment work happens.
